Communication is Essential for Dental Marketing

communication

Communication seems to be so easy these days, but when it comes to the Internet Bug you either love it or hate it, be rest assured, you can’t escape it.

Poor communication is such a huge time waster in friendships and in business. A fast email transmitting poorly worded instructions or an offensive attitude can end up adding many unnecessary hours to a project or repairing a friendship. When communicating online, it is important to choose your words wisely, as unlike the spoken word, what you put out on the World Wide Web will stick.

The masters of efficiency take a little extra time to think through their communication from the beginning. Considering all of the objectives when composing an email or picking up the phone.

Emails

For efficient communicating, it is imperative that you draft your emails with purpose using the exact language necessary to get the desired effect. It takes a little more time in the beginning but actually shaves much wasted time by thinking first, and if you are adding a graphic, make sure that it makes sense and is relevant to the email. You never know if the graphic that you added came out completely different from your intention.

Social Media

The same can be said for social media. Instead of posting the first thing that comes into your head, post thoughtfully. If you are diligent with your social media, you will have a heads up on what your users like, and what they don’t.

Pick up the Phone

Some businesses and family discourage texting and use the phone instead. Hearing a voice is such a pleasure after so many crazy and misunderstood texts. Try it!
