Dental Consultants for Something New and Fresh

dental consultants

As Dental Consultants, we are always looking at new and fresh ways to help a practice grow and as the new school year approaches, it brings certain memories and nostalgia for all of us.

I love school shopping for new clothes and supplies. I love the idea of starting new and fresh. The school year is a time when we can all start again. In a sense, it is the same thing that some of us do on New Years. However, I feel a bigger sense of renewal in September. The kids are back in school and I can get back to the gym on a regular basis. I love football games and colder evenings when I can slip back into my comfortable jeans again. Summer was so fun, yet so crazy as we pack about eight months worth of vacations and adventures into two or three months.

With new beginnings, it may be time to revisit your dental practice again. Look at new ways to promote your business. Get people back on schedules. So many enjoy summer and just let their schedule fly out the window.

So what are some things you could do to promote the fall and back to school in your town? Have you thought about, “Back to school specials?”

As dental consultants, we understand the importance of having everyone on the team take their vacations at the same time. Start planning with your team for 12 to 18 months from now. When is it convenient for all of us to take time off at the same time? There will be no last elopements, or any other last minute trips that will disrupt your practice. You want everyone to be happy. Scheduling vacations at the same time will keep your patients and your team members happy.

I have also found that it helps to keep some semblance of rhythm during the summer months. Of course, some things are important, such as family dinners at 6:00 pm, a fairly normal bedtime, and a substantial breakfast every day, but all of us tend to relax during June, July, and August. By planning during the summer, you and your family will not be in shock the day after Labor Day!
